Lit. Raising block.  Aji Uki is an upward motion of the arm used to create an opening.  It is disguised as a high block, always used in combination with Tenshin (movement) and other techniques.  In practical terms there are no blocks in Karate.

Lit. Thank you very much (formal use).  In a traditional Dōjō it is used towards teachers, seniors and on social occasions.  In the Shinjinbukan School at the beginning and end of each class the words “arigatō gozaimashita” are spoken out loud by all the students while bowing to the teacher.  Next they are spoken a second time while bowing towards each other.  The implied meaning is "thank you for teaching me".

A very strong rice wine typical of Okinawa.  There is a tradition in Okinawan Karate regarding the proper etiquette of drinking awamori.  Shinjinbukan is one of the last Dojos in Okinawa that still follows this custom.
