GALLERY — NEW YORK, DECEMBER 2009 Page 1 Page 2 忘年会 Bōnenkai / End of Year Party On December 4th, we celebrated our 2009 Bōnenkai (End of Year Party). The celebration started with a quick intensive training session, followed by much more. Tsuki, Keri & Tenshin — Basic Drills Next, we continued our training session with some basic drills of Tsuki, Keri, Tenshin.
End of Class Ceremony As part of our Reigi Sahō, we end class with three formal bows with the command Shomen Ni Rei.

Ceremonial Toast As the Bōnenkai (End of Year Party) continued, we had a ceremonial toast (with juice for the kids). This is an opportunity to expose my students to Reigi Sahō as it is applied to the entire social interaction, including the way we eat, serve and drink sake, an how we offer a toast.
